Accounting Support Specialist

ARB is seeking an Accounting Support Specialist to deliver excellence through client service, and accuracy through client deliverables, and provide accounting, assembly, and administrative support to strengthen productivity and workflow.

This individual will primarily process and assemble draft or final client deliverables, such as tax returns, tax estimates, tax extensions, tax notice responses, financial statements, and additional client communications, as needed.

Tax return assembly includes preparing client instruction letters and assembling required pdf and paper copies by following procedures designed to facilitate ease and understanding for any action items required of the client. Financial statement processing includes formatting, proofreading, editing, footing, drafting, final pdf assembly, and any requested bound paper copies.

The ideal candidate will possess a high order of logic and prioritization; strong grammar, proofreading, and numeracy skills; accuracy in working with detail; adaptability to meet the challenges of a fast-paced environment with finite deadlines; proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and the tenacity to master additional software programs.

This is a full-time, hourly position requiring some overtime, including some Saturdays January-April. Prior experience working in a professional office is highly desirable.
