Current openings:
Senior Accountant
The accountants at Albin Randall and Bennett (ARB) want an eager and motivated accountant to join our team of professionals. If you have two to five years of experience in public accounting we are excited to tell you more about the opportunities we offer. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional client service to closely held businesses throughout New England. Our specialties are auto dealers, contractors, manufacturers, credit unions, not-for-profits, and high net worth individuals.
As an ARB team member, you will have an opportunity to grow with us while you learn our business. Senior accountants are responsible for both financial statement and tax return preparation (we understand you might have specialized experience in one or the other) and we offer you the opportunity to work on all aspects of client service. At ARB we ask our professionals to do more for our clients than simply meet their routine compliance requirements. You will work closely with a team of professionals to become trusted advisors who are responsible for helping clients improve all aspects of their business. Our goal is to produce well-rounded business advisors, not “bean counters.” Primary duties will include:
- Supervising, training and evaluating assistant senior accountants and staff accountants
- Working with other senior accountants, managers, directors and partners as a team on a variety of engagements
- Directing the client service team so that all auditing, tax and accounting tasks are performed with minimal direct participation of managers, directors and partners
- Reviewing work prepared by subordinates, researching complex issues and providing solutions for our clients
- Committing to becoming an expert in the niche industries in which you work and providing management advisory and consulting services
