Current openings:

Assistant Senior Accountant

The accountants at Albin Randall and Bennett need an eager and motivated accountant to join our team of professionals.  If you have one to four years of experience in public accounting we invite you to learn more about the opportunities we offer.  We pride ourselves on providing exceptional client service to closely held businesses in Maine and New England.  Our firm specializes in auto dealers, contractors, manufacturers, credit unions, not-for-profits, and high net worth individuals.

You will have an opportunity to grow with us while you learn our business.  Assistant seniors are responsible for both financial statement and tax return preparation and we offer you the opportunity to work on all aspects of client service.  At ARB we ask our professionals to do more for our clients than simply meet their routine compliance requirements.  You will work closely with a team of professionals to become trusted advisors who are responsible for helping clients improve all aspects of their business.  Our goal is to produce well-rounded business advisors, not “bean counters.”  Primary duties will include:

  • Working with senior accountants, managers, and partners on a variety of audit and attest engagements
  • Prepare income tax returns and correspondence
  • Perform research and provide solutions for our clients
  • Provide management advisory and consulting services

Education Requirements: Bachelors degree including the academic courses sufficient for certification as a CPA.

Benefits: Health insurance, long-term disability insurance, life insurance, 401(k) plan, medical & dependent care plan, flexible work arrangements and reduced summer hours.
