Daniel P. Doiron, CPA, CVA, PrincipalAs principal in charge of ARB’s tax group, Dan focuses primarily on tax compliance and planning for high net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, estates, trusts, and private foundations. He has structured business acquisitions and sales from a tax perspective. Dan also provides tax-purpose related business valuation services. He is a member of the Maine Estate Planning Council and previously served on its Board of Directors. Dan is also a member of the American Institute of the Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He has served as a member of the State and Local Tax Group of one of the world’s leading networks of accounting and business advisory firms. He is also a member of the Maine Tax Workshops Advisory Committee.

A native of Brunswick, Maine, Dan joined ARB as an intern in January of 1986 and became a principal of the firm in 1996. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern Maine, Dan received the State of Maine Gold Medal for his performance on the May 1987 CPA Examination. He is the author of several articles published by national, professional publications. He has also developed and taught various accounting and tax seminars. Dan serves on the Board of Directors of the Brunswick Area Student Aid Fund and is a member of the Town of Brunswick Davis Fund Committee. Dan lives in Brunswick with his wife and two children.
