Daniel P. Doiron, CPA, CVA, PrincipalDan is principal-in-charge for ARB’s tax group. He has over 30 years of experience in public accounting and has been with ARB since his college internship in January of 1986. He works extensively with corporations, partnerships, LLCs, estates, and trusts on tax compliance and planning matters. Dan has also structured business acquisitions and business sales from a tax perspective. He has written numerous articles, some of which have been published nationally by professional publications, and has developed and taught seminars on various tax topics. Dan’s expertise has been sought by local television news, where he has appeared for interviews with respect to accounting and tax matters.

Dan graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from the University of Southern Maine. In achieving his CPA designation, he was awarded the State of Maine Gold Medal Certificate for earning the highest scores on all four parts of the May 1987 CPA Examination.

Dan also served as a past member of the State and Local Tax Group of one of the world’s leading networks of accounting and business advisory firms.


Dan serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Brunswick Area Student Aid Fund and as Treasurer for Vettes of Coastal Maine. He is a Committee Member for the Town of Brunswick’s Nathaniel Davis Fund and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Maine Estate Planning Council.
