Principal

Jason LeBlanc joined ARB in 1997 and has been a principal for the firm since 2016. Throughout his career in public accounting, Jason’s focus has been on M&A advisory services and providing accounting, compliance, and consulting services to clients in the nonprofit and automotive sectors. He is the Practice Leader for both ARB’s M&A Advisory Group and Nonprofit Advisory Services Group.

Personal

Jason and his wife reside in Gorham, Maine, with their two daughters. Outside of the office, he enjoys skiing, golfing, and other outdoor adventures.

Community Involvement

Throughout his career, Jason has been involved with many organizations in both leadership and volunteer roles. Currently, he serves as treasurer of a Maine nonprofit organization.

Specialties

Jason is the Practice Leader for ARB’s Nonprofit Advisory Service Group. He specializes in financial and compliance reporting for nonprofits and works closely with organizations ranging from private schools to youth organizations and beyond. Jason assists nonprofit organizations with strategic planning, development of internal control systems, implementation of accounting policies and practices, and other compliance issues.

In his automotive accounting practice, Jason consults on business operations and financing and has represented clients in automotive buy-sell transactions exceeding $4M. He also consults with auto dealerships on compliance with federal regulations and develops internal audit functions and risk management processes. Jason remains active within the industry and frequently attends state dealer association conferences.

In working with closely held businesses, Jason has developed a true understanding of the intricacies of navigating accounting and tax services for businesses with family dynamics. His expertise allows him to provide services of the highest degree that are beneficial for businesses and their shareholders, partners, members, and related ventures, trusts, and estates, alike.

Jason is the Practice Leader for ARB’s M&A Advisory Service Group. Representing both buyers and sellers, Jason has helped businesses grow by acquisition and sellers realize successful exits. On the sell side, he creates tax efficient strategies to maximize after-tax cash flow for the exiting owners. When working with buyers, Jason’s due diligences experience ensures there are no surprises and clients maximize the return on their investment into the new business enterprise.
