Barton Haag joined ARB in 1996 and has been a principal with the firm since 2005. His career focus is primarily in providing financial accounting, income tax planning, and business advisory services for clients in the automotive and motorcycle dealership industries, and for closely held businesses, many of which are family owned. Bart has published several articles in various periodicals and has presented tax, estate planning, and automotive industry-specific seminars at national and state industry meetings. He is the Practice Leader for ARB’s Automotive Services Group.

Bart and his wife, Ilse, reside in Yarmouth, Maine, with their two children. He enjoys golfing, skiing, boating, and traveling with family and friends.
As the Practice Leader of ARB’s Auto Dealership Group, Bart routinely assists auto dealerships in navigating manufacturer compliance issues, owner transitions, acquisitions and dispositions, among other industry specific challenges. Bart works with dealerships to identify opportunities to improve systems and profitability using the ARB Dashboard, a custom-designed financial benchmarking tool. Using the Dashboard, Bart and the ARB Team are able to help dealership clients gain a clearer picture of their operational statistics, their profitability, and areas of opportunity.

His expertise allows him to provide services of the highest degree that are beneficial for businesses and their shareholders, partners, members, and related ventures, trusts, and estates, alike.
