About the Speakers

Gisele

Gisèle N. Couturier, CPA
Manager

Gisèle Couturier joined ARB in 2017 as a Manager. She provides audit, accounting, and compliance services primarily to nonprofit organizations, commercial entities, credit unions, construction companies, and employee benefit plans. Prior to joining ARB, Gisèle worked as a senior audit manager at a regional firm for nine years. She began her career in private accounting, working in the reinsurance and hedge fund industries.

David Jean, CPA, CCIFP, CExp
Construction and Real Estate Practice Leader

David’s primary focus is on financial accounting and consulting for construction and real estate development companies. David’s commitment to staying on top of industry issues and trends is reflected in his board of directors service for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Maine and his Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation in August, 2005.  David also serves on the CPA Advisory Councilof the National Association of Surety Bond Producers.

 

 

 

 

Ben L

Benjamin A. Lord, CPA, CCIFP

Benjamin Lord specializes in providing consulting and financial accounting services to construction, real estate development, manufacturing and professional services firms.  He has worked with ARB since 2013. He is one of only 1,000 people to hold the CCIFP designation for his mastery of construction-related finance.

Ben began his career in public accounting in 2002, taking a break in 2008-2009 when he gained valuable experience in private equity and development financing as the Controller for a construction corporation. In this role, he managed internal and external financial reporting and cash management of multiple companies and development projects, and he also led a conversion of the corporate and project accounting software systems while streamlining and enhancing the accounting and reporting processes.

 

 

Matthew Pore

Matthew J. Pore, CPA

Matt Pore has been practicing public accounting in the Greater Boston region since 2003 and joined ARB in 2018. Throughout his career he has developed an acute understanding of tax and business advisory, primarily servicing affluent families and closely held businesses. He has significant experience with M&A transactions and corporate restructuring.

In addition to Matt’s Private Client practice, he has specific niche experience representing breweries, closely held businesses, private clients and family offices, and automotive dealerships. Matt is actively involved with his clients in all aspects related to “Tax,” whether they’re buying or selling their businesses, harvesting tax credits, cash flow planning for estimated tax payments, or restructuring for optimal estate and wealth transfer considerations.
